Welcome to my Portfolio
My name is Christian Weckl, born and raised in Curitiba, a city located in the south of Brazil, where I started to study animation, in my Digital Design bachelor's degree. I've been an animator since 2015, in the meantime I was able to fortify my skills as an animator: Acting, Drawing, Animation Supervision, Time Management, and Storytelling.
My Story
Before going to college, I had no idea what to do for a living, I always loved movies and cartoons, but becoming an artist for me at the time was a synonym of hobby without payment, because of the lack of opportunity for artists here in Brazil.
But I started to study animation anyway, it was the first time that I loved what I was doing, I was terrible at first, but who cares, that felt awesome.
As I began to work as an animator and do lots of courses, the opportunities started to open, especially outside Brazil, where the animation industry is more mature, recently I got called to animate world well-known movies, game cinematics, and short films, and it's only getting better.
